Get ready to succeed in your IELTS or TOEFL exam with our comprehensive 13-week (40 academic hours) English exam preparation course! Designed for high school students, this course focuses on building the essential language skills needed to excel in standardized tests.

Eligibility

This course is designed for individuals with an Intermediate (B1) or higher level of English proficiency. Not sure about your current level? Just complete the registration form, and we'll provide a placement test to accurately assess your skills.

The classes meet on Mondays/Wednesdays at 17:30-19:00.

Location

Courses are held in DeFehr Center on the , where you will be immersed into an international English speaking atmosphere. In case of renewed quarantine, the courses will continue in an online mode.

Fill out a short registration form on our website.
Once you’ve completed the form, you will receive an email with payment details and the next steps to finalize your registration.

English Proficiency Test

After registering, you will receive a link to the placement test by email.
You can also find the test link on this page.
If you completed the placement test last semester, you don’t need to take it again.

Register for an online Zoom meeting with a teacher

In your first confirmation email, you will find a link to register for an online Zoom meeting with a teacher. If you are registering for an IELTS/TOEFL preparation course, please note that participation is available from B1 level and above.

If your placement test results are too low, or during the meeting the teacher determines that your English level does not meet the required standard, you will be offered an alternative option – to join a General English group, which also focuses on developing speaking skills, or to take individual English lessons.

If you do not register for the meeting or complete the placement test before the course starts, the teacher may contact you by phone for a short conversation.

Receive your class invitation

Before the course begins, you will receive an email invitation with all the necessary information — including class dates, schedule, room number, and other important details.

Placement Test

The placement test is designed to evaluate your English language proficiency, enabling us to place you in the appropriate group for optimal learning. Upon completion of the test, we will provide you with additional information on how to schedule a remote interview with one of our teachers.

You can complete the placement test before or after submitting the registration form.

Payment

The total price for the 13-week program is 442 Eur. Payment can be made on campus using cash or credit card or by bank transfer.

You can make a full payment during the registration process. Alternatively, you can pay in two equal parts. To pay in two parts, there is an additional 15 Eur administration fee.

Family / Returning Student Discount

If family members are simultaneously studying in any LCC English program, a 10% discount is given to each one.
Students who return for the second semester in a row are given a 10% discount for the second semester.
Discounts cannot be combined.

If you prefer learning individually and at your own pace, we offer private tutoring services. Our experienced tutors, trained by qualified English Language Center teachers are capable of helping you to improve your conversational and grammar skills. Learning individually offers the flexibility you might need.
